What it is

Documented under xAI’s branding. The documentation says it runs on Cursor-hosted computers and that access comes with paid Cursor plans or a linked SuperGrok subscription, so the product and the billing sit with different companies.

Each bot has its own browser, files and terminal on a hosted machine and keeps working after you close your laptop, posting progress and handing the screen back when a site needs a login or blocks automation. Skills capture a repeatable way of doing a task, either written or recorded from a ten-minute demonstration, and routines run a bot on a schedule or when something happens in Slack. Every risky action passes an approval step backed by an independent review model.

Its published use cases include outbound sales research, where a bot scores the accounts in a CRM view against the ideal customer profile, finds three contacts each and drafts outreach in a given style, and paid media, where it pulls spend and performance by campaign and proposes reallocations against a target cost per acquisition.

What marketing teams should take from it

  • It is a concrete picture of the connected task finding 03.2 asks you to test. Research that ends in a ready draft inside the systems the team uses, not a text answer to paste.
  • A bot can never hold more access than the person it belongs to, and it hands the login step back to the person. That is the permission model chapter 3 argues for.
  • Audit logs and action recording are Enterprise-only, and there is no guarantee it will stick to the models your company has approved, which matters before it touches customer data.
  • It is sold by the seat through a coding-tool vendor, with usage that resets weekly. It is not a marketing platform.

Where to start

Use the sales-research use case as the specification to put in front of your company’s AI lead. The weekly account brief from finding 01.3, produced with a normal employee login, landing in the CRM. Whether this product or your existing setup delivers it, the test is the same.

If a team pilots it, start with a recorded skill for competitive monitoring on a daily routine, with approvals on, and review the first month’s output before adding accounts.

Keep in mind

Check who sells it and on what terms before a pilot. The product is in beta and the arrangement between the two companies changed in August 2026.
